Where to check official dates

When to start preparing

If Numeracy makes you anxious, start earlier than you think you need to. Short repeated practice is usually easier to sustain than a rushed block of long tests.

2-week preparation plan

Use this when the test window is close and you need focus. Do one short topic session daily, review mistakes immediately, then complete two mixed mini tests near the end.

4-week preparation plan

Spend the first two weeks on weak topics, especially percentages, ratios, measurement and data. Spend the next two weeks mixing topics, timing short sets and reviewing errors.

8-week preparation plan

This is the calmest option. Use two or three short sessions per week, rotate topics, keep a mistake list, and add mixed practice gradually. The goal is to make methods familiar before test pressure arrives.

Use test dates as a planning anchor

Once you know your test window, work backwards. Decide when you will finish topic revision, when you will begin mixed practice, and when you will stop adding new material.
